During this teaching, pastor Ellis talks about truth and lies and encourages us to connect with not just Jesus' teachings in places like the Sermon on the Mount, but also with other examples throughout the Bible that warn us about the impact lies can have on our lives, our heart, and ultimately the world.

What Jesus' followers will face in the near and distant future will tempt them to panic. They/we must resist the temptation - they are only birthpains that are part of the birth process for the new life Jesus has promised.

Will Jesus' followers have the patience to hold on, and live at a place where the purposes of God and the pain of the world cross paths with each other?

Where are you on your Journey?

Today we we are asking: Where do we go to learn about Jesus? The people who have encountered Jesus the most intimately, including and especially people who knew Jesus in the flesh 2,000 years ago.

This week as we continue our Habitus series we look to expand on that definition, examine what hospitality is not, and begin the discussion of how to build this habit into our personal lives and the culture of our church family.

As we continue our Habitus series this week we are examining the question "why do we gather as a church?" We as Gallery Church are looking to learn the ways to put into practice the disciplines to develop Habitus in our lives. We have the confidence that Jesus is Lord, that He is the Truth and we can trust and obey His commands so that we rely on Him and let conviction on Him guide our lives into abundance.
